Privacy Policy

App: HANJA RUN · Last updated: August 14, 2026

HANJA RUN does not collect any personal information.
The developer operates no servers. Your game progress is stored only on your own device and is never transmitted to anyone, including the developer.
The app never connects to the internet.

1. Information we do not collect

This app does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personally identifiable information such as name, email address, or phone number
• Location data
• Photos, contacts, or files stored on the device
• Advertising identifiers (AAID) or device identifiers
• Usage logs, access logs, or analytics data

The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no third-party analytics SDKs.

Permissions the app requests

The app requests no permissions at all — no camera, location, storage, microphone, or contacts.

2. Information stored on your device only

So that you can continue where you left off, the following is saved on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere, and no one — including the developer — can access it.

• Highest cleared stage
• Coin balance and best score
• Characters, pets and potions unlocked with in-game coins, and which are equipped
• List of hanja answered incorrectly (used for the review feature)
• The name to print on the certificate (only if you type one; it never leaves the device)
• Music and sound effect on/off settings
• Whether the controls tutorial has been shown

This data is erased when you use the “Start over” option inside the game, or when you uninstall the app.

3. Children's privacy

This app was made to help children learn hanja (Chinese characters).

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children. No child's personal information is ever collected, used, or shared.

There is no sign-up, no login, no chat, and no communication between users. There are no links to external websites from the gameplay screens.

Nothing in the app asks children to buy anything. Every stage is free to play.

4. Sharing and third parties

Because the developer collects no information, no personal information is shared with or processed by any third party on the developer's behalf.

5. Your rights

Since the app collects no personal information, there is no separate process for requesting access, correction, or deletion. To erase the game data stored on your device, you may either:

• Choose “Start over” inside the game, or
• Uninstall the app from your device settings.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated text and revision date will be posted on this page. If a future version of the app ever begins collecting information, we will announce it here in advance.

• August 14, 2026 — The in-app purchase was removed and every stage is now free. The purchase-related sections and the com.android.vending.BILLING permission were deleted accordingly.
• August 12, 2026 — Added sections 3 and 5 and updated the permission and on-device storage lists, following the introduction of the in-app paid unlock.
• August 2, 2026 — First published.
